The Voice narrowed its field to eight Semi Finalists on Seven and 7plus, with coaches Richard Marx, Melanie C, Ronan Keating and Kate Miller-Heidke forced to cut their teams in half after the Quarter Finals.
The pressure was firmly on as the competition reached its Quarter Final stage, with every coach facing the task of deciding which artists would continue towards the Grand Finale and which would be sent home.
By the end of the two Quarter Final episodes, Team Richard had secured places for Tika Cetinich from Victoria and Tommy Novak from NSW.

Team Melanie C moved forward with Taylor Beadle-Williams from NSW and Yung Milla from the Northern Territory, while Team Ronan advanced Leyla Sabo from Victoria and The 60Four from South Australia.
Rounding out the final eight were Team Kate artists Charlotte June from South Australia and Daisha Auda from Queensland.
The decisions followed another round of performances in which the coaches were looking for more than strong vocals, with stage presence, vulnerability, artistic identity and readiness for the next stage of the competition all becoming part of the discussion.
At just 15, Daisha Auda returned to the stage knowing Kate Miller-Heidke had already used her save to keep her in the competition.
Daisha performed Janelle Monáe’s Tightrope, delivering a performance that caught the attention of the other coaches.
Ronan Keating described Daisha’s stage presence as “mesmerising”, while Richard Marx said she “crushed it”.

However, Richard also questioned Kate’s choice of song for the teenager.
Kate stood by the decision, arguing the performance gave Daisha an opportunity to show another side of herself as an artist.
The gamble ultimately worked, with Daisha claiming one of Team Kate’s two positions in the Semi Finals.
For Yung Milla, the Quarter Final brought another emotional reaction from his coach.
Performing The Weeknd and Kendrick Lamar’s Pray For Me, Yung Milla once again left Melanie C in tears.
I can’t even explain it.
There’s just something so powerful about what you represent, and it gets me every time.
The performance was enough for Melanie to keep Yung Milla in the competition, giving him one of the two Semi Final berths available on her team.
Tommy Novak faced a different challenge when he took on Phil Collins’ Against All Odds.

The coaches pushed Tommy to reveal more vulnerability in his performance, but Richard Marx ultimately placed his faith in the progress Tommy had made throughout the competition.
Richard pointed to Tommy’s growth and commitment before choosing him as one of his Semi Finalists.
That decision meant Tommy would continue alongside Tika Cetinich as Team Richard moved into the next round.
One of the strongest reactions of the Quarter Finals came after Charlotte June performed a reworked version of Fred Again and Obongjayar’s adore u.
The performance drew major praise from Richard Marx.
That was the best performance we’ve had all season.
Charlotte’s coach, Kate Miller-Heidke, was equally emphatic about what she had just seen.
I’m so proud of you.
You weave this powerful spell in the room.
Breathtaking.
Magnificent.
Charlotte subsequently secured her place in the Semi Finals alongside Daisha, completing Team Kate’s final two.
Another of the night’s youngest competitors, Leyla Sabo, faced questions about whether she was ready for the demands of the competition.
The 12-year-old performed Demi Lovato’s Skyscraper, with the performance helping secure her position in the Semi Finals.
When concerns were raised about whether her age meant she was ready to continue at this level, Leyla made her position clear.
I’ve been singing forever.
This is something I love doing, and I want to do it for the rest of my life.
Yes, I’m ready,
Leyla said.
Her performance and response were enough for Ronan Keating to send her through as one of the final two members of Team Ronan.
Tika Cetinich also faced a significant test, taking on Heart’s power ballad Alone.
Her performance earned her a Semi Final position, with Richard Marx praising the progress she had made during the competition.
You deserve to be standing exactly where you are.
Ronan Keating went even further in his assessment of Tika’s chances, telling her:
You have become a contender for the crown.
With Tika moving forward alongside Tommy, Richard’s final two were locked in.
For The 60Four, the Quarter Final represented a chance to show a different side of the group.
The band performed a contemporary interpretation of sombr’s 12 to 12, moving away from what audiences had previously seen from them.
The performance divided opinion among the coaches.
Richard Marx did not regard it as the group’s strongest showing, but their coach Ronan Keating remained convinced they deserved a place in the next stage.
Their voices are the best I’ve ever heard as a band on any show, anywhere.
Ronan ultimately backed the group, sending The 60Four into the Semi Finals with Leyla.
Taylor Beadle-Williams was another performer facing the pressure of securing one of only two available places on her team.
Taylor tackled Whitney Houston’s I’m Every Woman, with the performance earning praise for both her vocals and her artistry.
Her performance was enough for Melanie C to advance her alongside Yung Milla, completing the two artists representing Team Melanie C in the Semi Finals.
The Quarter Finals also brought the end of the road for seven artists who had made it deep into the competition.
Phoebe Rose, Jack Hughes, Victoria Knight, Jamie Koul, Wave Raiders, Cleo Paladino and Bertie Anderson were all eliminated as the coaches reduced their remaining teams.
Their departures left eight artists still competing.
For Richard Marx, the Semi Final line-up is Tika Cetinich and Tommy Novak.
Melanie C will take forward Taylor Beadle-Williams and Yung Milla.
Ronan Keating will be represented by Leyla Sabo and The 60Four.
And Kate Miller-Heidke will head into the Semi Final with Charlotte June and Daisha Auda.
Those eight contestants will now compete for positions in the Grand Finale, with the Semi Final requiring the remaining singers and group to survive another cut as the competition moves towards its final stage.
