An NIA chargesheet accessed by India Today reveals details regarding the November 2025 Red Fort suicide blast case. The investigation details a terror conspiracy involving medical professionals led by Dr Umarun Nabi, an assistant professor of general medicine at Al-Falah University in Faridabad. The chargesheet outlines how the accused allegedly aimed to overthrow the democratically elected government through armed terrorism and suicide attacks. It states that Dr Nabi activated the improvised explosive device inside the vehicle during the blast that killed 11 people. The probe also points to the use of explosive materials, an Al-Qaeda offshoot manual titled Lone Mujahid Pocket Book, and propaganda material linked to the Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind module.
