The Young Matildas representative has become a key figure for Canberra, impressing with her shot-stopping ability and commanding presence.
Head Coach Antoni Jagarinec said he was delighted to see both players commit to another season.
“Bethany and Sally showed last season how important they are to our side and we’re glad to have them back,” Jagarinec said.
“Bethany has gone from strength-to-strength during her time at Canberra United and we think she can deliver even more next season with her playmaking ability and avenue to goal.”
“Sally constantly shows experience beyond her years, establishing herself as one of the best goalkeepers in the league and we’re thrilled to have her leading the team from the back.”
Gordon and James are Canberra United’s first signings ahead of the 2026/27 Ninja A-League season, with the club set to announce the remainder of its playing roster in the coming weeks.
United will begin their campaign in Matchweek 2 away to Central Coast Mariners on Saturday, October 24, before hosting Western Sydney Wanderers in their first home game of the season at McKellar Park on Sunday, November 1.
