Tall, skinny and dusky, she faced constant comments about her appearance. But her father believed in her before she believed in herself. At 18, she entered an audition, won a competition among nearly 10,000 people and earned the chance to represent India in Milan.

The journey came with countless rejections, but she kept showing up. From Pune to Paris, Milan and London, she eventually walked for global brands including H&M and Armani.

Her journey is a reminder that you don’t need everyone to believe in your dream. Sometimes, you just need to believe in it first.
