BINGE and Foxtel have locked in a long-term extension with NBCUniversal, securing a major pipeline of first-run series, blockbuster movies and reality TV from 2028.
Announced as part of the Foxtel Group upfronts, the new agreement extends a relationship last renewed in 2022, when the two companies signed a multi-year deal covering scripted programming, movies, reality, news and channels.
The latest deal will continue to give BINGE and Foxtel subscribers exclusive access in Australia to first-run scripted programming from Sky Studios and Universal Studio Group, including drama and comedy series produced for Peacock.

The movie offering will also expand, with franchises including Fast & Furious, Jurassic Park, Despicable Me, Minions, Bridget Jones and How to Train Your Dragon, as well as Pay-1 rights to upcoming NBCUniversal releases.
There’s also a substantial library of TV titles, including The Office, Downton Abbey, Friday Night Lights and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, alongside an expanded collection of Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU seasons.
The deal extends beyond BINGE, with Foxtel subscribers continuing to have access to NBCUniversal channels including Universal TV and DreamWorks, while the new Universal Crime channel will also join the line-up.
Hayu will also be added to the Foxtel app suite from 2028, giving subscribers direct access to the NBCUniversal-owned reality streaming service.
For the Foxtel Group, the agreement continues a significant content relationship at a time when major international studios have more options for distributing their programming directly through their own streaming services.

Foxtel Group CEO Patrick Delany described the agreement as a “supercharged extension” and said NBCUniversal had long been a key part of the company’s entertainment offering.
“NBCUniversal has long been a cornerstone of our entertainment offering. This extension is a landmark, expanded partnership that secures a future slate of highly anticipated content.”
The new agreement will commence in 2028, with the content and rights extending across both BINGE and Foxtel.
