Freddie loved cats so much, he owned up to ten.
Freddie treated them like his children, all of them!
He described his Delilah as the ‘apple of his eye’.
Freddie wrote a song about her, to prove just why!
Calico Delilah, was Freddie’s favourite cat for sure.
Freddie often rang her up, while away on Tour!
And Delilah would meow to Freddie over the phone!
Freddie often joked how Delilah took over his home.
But, Freddie, of course loved all his other cats too.
Including, Oscar, Lily, Miko, and Tom to name a few!
They lived a life of extraordinary luxury and of care.
Everything in Garden Lodge, with his cats he’d share.
Freddie didn’t have many true friends, he’d often say.
But he took comfort in his cats, before he slipped away.
Delilah remained close to Freddie, right until the end.
Forever his loving companion…forever his furry friend.
