A 60-year-old woman died here in the Aliganj area after suffering pain her chest, caused allegedly by a loud DJ system mounted on a tractor-trolley, police said on Tuesday.

She was on her way to a temple for jalabhishek.

According to family member Dorilal, the DJ system blared at a high decibel around 400-450 metres from the temple.

As the tractor passed them, Kamla Devi clutched her chest and sat down. She did not get up thereafter, he said.

Loud sound and its vibrations caused her death, Dorilal claimed.
