Prime Video has released the official trailer for Drawn Together, the first film based on author Mercedes Ron’s Enfrentados duology, ahead of its exclusive worldwide premiere on September 9.
The romantic thriller stars Ester Expósito (Venus) and Hugo Diego García (The Substance), with Prime Video also releasing new images from the film ahead of its debut in more than 240 countries and territories.
Drawn Together is adapted from the first instalment in Ron’s Enfrentados duology, which consists of Drawn Togetherand Drawn Apart.

The story follows Marfil Cortés, the daughter of a Spanish business tycoon whose life in New York is upended when she is kidnapped before being mysteriously released.
In the aftermath, her father appoints Sebastian Moore as her bodyguard. While Marfil is fiercely independent and Sebastian maintains a professional distance, the pair find themselves increasingly drawn to each other.
Sebastian’s reserved personality and Marfil’s untamed spirit gradually begin to break down their respective defences.
Their situation becomes more dangerous after returning to Spain, where new threats emerge and the pair are forced to navigate circumstances in which neither people nor events are necessarily what they appear to be.
Joining Expósito and García in the cast is Eric Masip (Through My Window) as Iván, Pablo Molinero (A Private Affair) as Alejandro and Zoe Bonafonte (The 47) as Gabriela.
The ensemble also includes Lluís Homar (Los Abrazos Rotos) as Logan and Joaquín Ferreira (Club de Cuervos) as Ray.

Both Drawn Together and Drawn Apart are produced by Pokeepsie Films (Banijay Iberia), the company behind Veneciafrenia, 30 monedas and El bar.
Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang serve as producers, while Óscar Pedraza (Patria, Vivir Sin Permiso) directs the films from a screenplay by Sofía Cuenca (Culpa Tuya, Culpa Nuestra).
The two-film project represents the third collaboration between Prime Video and Mercedes Ron, following adaptations of the author’s Culpables trilogy and Tell Me Softly.
The official trailer for Drawn Together has now been released by Prime Video ahead of the film joining the streaming service as part of a Prime subscription.
Drawn Together premieres exclusively on Prime Video on September 9; no broadcast time has been provided.
