Fresh casting is now underway for Antiques Roadshow Australia, with BBC Studios Productions Australia once again searching the country for hidden treasures and the stories behind them.
The new call follows the recent YouTube release of the Australian pilot, taped last year, which has attracted more than 100,000 views and plenty of buzz in just a few weeks on the BBC Antiques Roadshow channel.
Hosted by The Chase Australia star Issa Schultz, the pilot adapted the long running British format for local audiences, pairing owners with specialist valuers to uncover the stories behind their treasured possessions.

Applicants hoping to appear on the program are being invited to submit photos and a short video showcasing an object and the story behind it, with producers searching for everything from jewellery and ceramics to artworks, memorabilia and Australiana.
BBC Studios is also inviting viewers to register their interest in receiving updates on filming, broadcast details and other opportunities to be involved with Antiques Roadshow Australia, suggesting planning is continuing as the proposed local adaptation moves forward.
The latest activity suggests BBC Studios is continuing to progress the proposed Australian adaptation while a local broadcaster remains unconfirmed.
