Amongst a Facebook feed of found dogs and cats, Boston Animal Care and Control posted Thursday regarding a found snake. A ball python, to be precise, according to officials.
The snake, known for now as “Tippy,” was reportedly found Wednesday near Ellington Street in Dorchester.

City officials did not immediately respond to a request for additional information.
