Four people were injured in a school bus rollover in Mattapan on Thursday afternoon, police said.  

Shortly before 1:10 p.m., authorities responded to 1000 Harvard St. for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a bus school, a Boston Police Department spokesperson said. 

Four people sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. Police noted the victims were adults; no children were in the vehicle. 

The bus was found rolled over on its side, police said, but the cause remains unclear. 

Police did not release any further information as of Thursday afternoon.
