Alyssa Healy has signed on as a permanent member of the Fox Cricket commentary team ahead of Kayo Sports’ Summer of the Century, beginning with the Top End Test Series in Australia next month.
The former Australian captain joins an established commentary line-up featuring Adam Gilchrist, Isa Guha, Kerry O’Keeffe, Michael Hussey, Mel Jones, Mark Howard, Brendon Julian, Brett Lee, Ian Smith, Michael Vaughan, Mark Waugh and David Warner.

Healy retired from professional cricket in March, ending a 16-year international career that included 299 appearances for Australia and the final three seasons as captain. A 2019 Belinda Clark Award winner and two-time ICC Women’s T20I Cricketer of the Year, she finished her playing career as one of Australia’s most decorated cricketers.
After making guest appearances with Fox Cricket last summer, Healy will now become a permanent member of the broadcaster’s commentary team. Her first assignment will be the Top End Test Series, with Australia hosting Bangladesh in Darwin and Mackay from August 13.

Fox Sports Managing Director Steve Crawley welcomed Healy’s appointment, saying her experience would strengthen the broadcaster’s coverage.

During her international career, Healy scored more than 7,300 runs and recorded 278 dismissals, the most by any woman in international cricket across all three formats.
She also won six T20 World Cups, becoming the first female player to reach 100 international dismissals. Her honours include the 2022 ODI World Cup, 2022 Commonwealth Games gold, 11 Women’s National Cricket League titles with the NSW Breakers, and two Women’s Big Bash League championships.
According to Fox Sports, the Summer of the Century will feature seven months of cricket, beginning with the men’s Top End Test Series against Bangladesh before home series against South Africa, England, New Zealand and India across all three formats. The schedule concludes with the 150th Anniversary Test Match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in March.

The Australian women’s team will return to home international action after its T20 World Cup triumph, hosting Bangladesh, New Zealand and South Africa in successive white-ball series from October.
The domestic season will also include the opening match of BBL16, with the Melbourne Renegades taking on the Perth Scorchers at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, India, on December 12. The WBBL season begins in Melbourne on October 29.
Summer of the Century begins with the NRMA Insurance Bangladesh Test Series from August 13, with every Test match played in Australia broadcast live and ad-break free during play on Fox Cricket, available on Kayo Sports.
