I’m vacationing on the Cape this week, where my family has rented the same house in Harwich for the past 12 years. So I was obviously delighted when Boston.com readers named Harwich their favorite town on the Cape this past spring. I’ll share more about Harwich when I return.

- The Milford Oyster Festival, a staple since 1975, will take place Aug. 14-15 and bring music, beverages, food, rides, and, of course, locally sourced oysters to Fowler Field in Milford, Conn.
