Jackson, Fleur and Alex have been crowned the winners of LEGO Masters: Bricktacular, bringing Nine’s four episode event series and the latest chapter of one of its biggest entertainment franchises to a close.
The trio claimed the $100,000 prize and trophy during Sunday night’s grand final after their ambitious Jurassic World inspired build, Monorail Mayhem, impressed host Hamish Blake, judge Ryan “Brickman” McNaught and 200 members of the public.
Across four themed episodes, returning contestants from Australia and around the world tackled builds inspired by The Lord of the Rings, DC Heroes, Bluey and Jurassic World in a condensed take on the long running competition.

Host Hamish Blake said Jackson, Fleur and Alex’s victory ranked among the most deserving winners the competition has seen across its eight seasons.
“This is the eighth time the trophy has been hoisted and it was one of the most deserved hoistings yet. These guys were amazing.”
Judge Ryan “Brickman” McNaught said the Jurassic World finale demonstrated the extraordinary standard the competition continues to achieve, despite eight seasons on air.
“Every season I think I’ve seen it all, and every season the builders prove me wrong. The Jurassic finale demanded creativity, technical skill and nerves of steel, and the standard was simply phenomenal.”
Bricktacular represented a scaled back return for LEGO Masters, with Nine and production company Endemol Shine Australia opting for a four episode event rather than commissioning another traditional full season.
Across its first three outings, the series averaged around 683,000 overnight viewers, a respectable result but one that left it well behind Seven’s Farmer Wants A Wife and below the audience levels the franchise has delivered in recent years
Online, viewers largely embraced the returning contestants, international teams and blockbuster themed challenges, with the Bluey episode emerging as a particular favourite, although many also felt the event was over almost as quickly as it began and hoped the shortened format wouldn’t replace a full season.
Nine has yet to announce any plans for LEGO Masters in 2027 and, based on the network’s more cautious approach this year, another series appears far from certain. Watch this space.
