England have discovered the full schedule for the 2027 Ashes after the England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed the dates and venues for both the men’s and women’s series against Australia.
In a landmark summer for English cricket, the men’s and women’s Ashes will run concurrently, with both sides looking to reclaim the famous urns after difficult campaigns in Australia.
The men’s team will launch their bid to regain the men’s Ashes on June 18 when the opening Test gets under way at Trent Bridge.
England suffered a heavy 4-1 series defeat Down Under during the 2025-26 tour and will now attempt to respond on home soil across five Tests.
The second Test will be staged at Lord’s before the series moves to Edgbaston for the third encounter.
One of the biggest talking points of the schedule comes with the fourth Test, which will be held at Southampton’s Utilita Bowl from July 21.
It will mark the first time the venue has hosted a men’s Ashes Test, representing a significant milestone for Hampshire’s home ground.

The 2027 contest will conclude at The Kia Oval, where the fifth and final Test is scheduled to begin on July 29.

A five-match one-day international series against Pakistan is due to take place between May 15 and May 26 before the hosts welcome Bangladesh to Lord’s for a standalone Test beginning on May 28.
Following the Ashes, England’s summer continues with an eight-match white-ball series against New Zealand.
That contest starts on September 7 and features three ODIs and five T20 internationals before concluding on September 25.
England Women will also be hoping to erase painful memories after enduring a disastrous Ashes campaign in Australia, where they suffered a 16-0 whitewash in the multi-format series.

Their quest to reclaim the Ashes for the first time since 2014 begins with a one-off Test at Headingley on June 24.
The action then switches to the T20 format, with matches scheduled at Trent Bridge on July 3, The Kia Oval on July 6 and Emirates Old Trafford on July 9.
The series will be decided by three one-day internationals, beginning at Southampton on July 13 before moving to Lord’s three days later.
Edgbaston will host the final match of the Women’s Ashes on July 20, bringing to a close a landmark summer in which England’s men’s and women’s teams will simultaneously attempt to wrest back the Ashes from Australia.
