A 24-year-old woman and her two sons were reportedly found dead inside their house in Vittamrajupalli village under Vinukonda police station limits in Palnadu district late on Monday night. Police suspect the woman ended her life, however, they are yet to ascertain how the children died. The exact circumstances surrounding the deaths are yet to be established, the police said.
The deceased were identified as Nakka Bharathi (24), her elder son Nakka Eswar Reddy (5) and her younger son Nakka Hemanadh Reddy. According to police, information about the incident was received late on Monday night, following which officers rushed to the house and found the three dead bodies.
Police said that Bharathi married Sunil Reddy, her maternal uncle’s son, about six years ago, and the couple had two sons. While Bharathi was a homemaker, Sunil Reddy earned his livelihood by driving a milk van.
Investigators are yet to ascertain the sequence of events leading to the deaths and are awaiting further forensic and post-mortem findings. Police have registered a case and are examining all possible angles, including the circumstances that led to the woman’s alleged suicide and the deaths of the two children. Further investigation is under way.
