Khushi Kapoor’s Anamika Khanna lehenga features a net blouse with checkered thread and floral embroidery

The look was built around the voluminous lehenga with a floral appliqué waistband, featuring floral vines in pink, yellow and blue resham threads, embroidered with gold zari and sequins. The lehenga is paired with a net blouse with checkered thread embroidery featuring floral detailing across the bust and sleeves, finished with an organic scalloped hem. The sheer dupatta mirrored the floral narrative with scattered embroidered patterns and a scalloped border.

For accessories, stylist Tanya Ghavri layered statement necklaces set in pink, purple and green gemstones with matching chandelier earrings and a maang tikka from Hyderabad-based jewellery house Akoya Jewels. Jadau and polki Kadas from Jaipur-based jewellery labels Rambhajos and Raniwala 1881 stacked the hands while a bespoke floral-embroidered clutch by Meera Mahadevia, designed to mirror the embroidery on the lehenga, completed the look. Makeup artist Tanvi Chemburkar opted for luminous skin, glitter-washed eyes, defined lashes, blushed cheeks and pink lips, while hairstylist Sourav Roy styled Kapoor’s hair in a twisted half-braided hairstyle adorned with flowers and crystals.

Kapoor has frequently turned to Anamika Khanna for milestone fashion moments. For the launch of the designer’s collaboration with H&M in 2025, she wore a contemporary separates look featuring a cropped fitted jacket layered over a crisp white collared shirt and paired with a pleated skirt. Styled by Ami Patel, the ensemble was accessorised with a brooch worn as a tie, statement earrings and a hair pin.

From Vogue‘s fashion desk:

“Khushi Kapoors green lehenga is a nice respite from the gloomy monsoons, it feels as fresh and in bloom as a spring garden. Rethink the jewellery and lean towards minimalism. Opt for a singular statement ring and maybe a piece for the hair and then let the dewey makeup up and look speak for itself,” says Divya Balakrishnan, Vogue India fashion associate.
