While plenty of eyes are on one World Cup, another is quietly drawing closer, with just 100 days until the Rugby League World Cup 2026 arrives live, free and exclusive on Seven and 7plus.
Seven and Rugby League might not be two names Aussies usually put together, but the broadcaster will showcase the month long tournament featuring the world’s best men’s, women’s and wheelchair teams, opening with Australia taking on New Zealand in a blockbuster clash at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium.

The countdown to one of Rugby League’s biggest events has begun, with today marking 100 days to go until the Rugby League World Cup 2026, broadcast live, free and exclusively on Seven and 7plus Sport from Thursday, 15 October to Sunday, 15 November 2026.
Kicking off with a blockbuster clash between Australia and New Zealand at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium, Seven’s month-long coverage will showcase the very best of international rugby league with 18 men’s, 15 women’s and 20 wheelchair matches.
Hosted by Australia, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand, Rugby League World Cup 2026 will feature 26 teams from around the world, including England, Tonga and Samoa.
