Construction has officially commenced on Cedar Woods’ luxury Sereno Apartments, marking the next major step in Glensides ongoing transformation into one of Adelaide’s most sought-after residential precincts.
After naming Sarah Constructions as the building team to bring the vision to life just last month, the eight-storey apartment development is now moving from plans to reality, promising premium homes with views of the Adelaide foothills, lush botanic surrounds and a lifestyle designed around convenience, connection and calm.
Situated in Glenside, a burgeoning residential area just two kilometres from the CBD that is said to bring together “heritage charm with contemporary living in a unique botanical setting”, the new Sereno Apartments mark the next step in the precinct’s redevelopment.
“Sereno represents the next evolution of apartment living at Glenside and builds on the features delivered in previous buildings,” the Cedar Woods team said.
“[They] will comprise approximately 88 premium apartments within a thoughtfully designed apartment building in the Glenside master planned community.
“The development offers a mix of one, two and three-bedroom residences designed to cater to a range of lifestyle needs and buyer profiles.”
These eight-storey apartments, with views of the Adelaide foothills and surrounded by Adelaide’s lush botanic landscapes, promise a lifestyle that is both “elevated and serene”. Tasked with delivering this vision is Sarah Constructions, which is aiming to create apartments that “combine contemporary luxury with warm, natural tones inspired by the surrounding parklands”.
With a focus on thoughtful design and quality finishes, the completed Sereno Apartments will offer buyers a choice of three carefully curated interior colour schemes, allowing residents to personalise their homes to suit their style and preferences.

But the team stresses that buying an apartment in Glenside comes with more than just what’s on the inside. Reflecting the established green spaces and open areas that Glenside is increasingly becoming known for, the apartments boast an eight star NatHERS energy rating.
They are 100 percent electric homes that require zero fossil fuels during occupation and feature solar-powered communal areas, EV charging capability in every car park, and double-glazed windows and doors.

With a projected mid-2028 completion, enquiries are now open for interested purchasers. Prices begin at $599,000 for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, rising to a starting price of $1,575,000 for three-bedroom, two-bathroom, two-car configurations.
“We have had a really nice mix of buyers in Sereno, which is now over 60 per cent sold. Downsizers are still a strong market, with people wanting a home that is secure, low maintenance, and allows them to lock up and leave if they go travelling.
“The government’s stamp duty abolishment for downsizers over 60 has also made Sereno an appealing prospect,” the Cedar Woods team said of the interest they have experienced so far.
