Tunaria Festival in Dubai is entering its final day. After a month of premium bluefin tuna dining, island staycations, and waterfront experiences at voco Dubai Monaco, The Heart of Europe, the festival will officially conclude on May 30.
For anyone who has not yet visited, this weekend marks the final opportunity to experience the festival before it closes.
A Month Dedicated to Premium Bluefin Tuna
Running throughout May, the Tunaria Festival was built around one ingredient: sustainably sourced bluefin tuna.
Guests were invited to explore curated seafood menus, live culinary experiences, and specialty dishes showcasing premium tuna sourced through Spain’s traditional Almadraba fishing method, a centuries-old technique known for its selective and sustainable approach.
The festival also drew attention for a live carving of a 252kg bluefin tuna, an event that organisers described as a regional record and one of the festival’s standout moments.
Beyond the dining experience, the festival positioned itself as a celebration of responsible seafood sourcing while bringing a unique culinary concept to Dubai’s hospitality scene.
An Island Staycation With a Difference
Part of the appeal of the Tunaria Festival has been its location.
Set at voco Dubai Monaco within The Heart of Europe development, the venue offered visitors the chance to combine dining with an island escape just off Dubai’s coastline.
One of the most talked-about experiences was the Floating Villa staycation, where guests were welcomed by a mermaid-themed greeting upon arrival. The concept added a theatrical touch to the overall experience and quickly became a popular feature across social media.
Accommodation options ranged from premium hotel rooms at voco Dubai Monaco to ultra-luxury private residences, including the Sweden Beach Palace, a six-bedroom beachfront mansion featuring a private beach, infinity pool, and dedicated butler service.
Packages throughout the festival included private boat transfers, allowing guests to travel directly between Dubai and The World Islands.
Final Opportunity Before the Festival Ends
The Tunaria Festival officially concludes on May 30, 2026, with no extension currently announced.
For visitors looking to experience the event before it closes, the remaining dates represent the final opportunity to enjoy the festival’s seafood menus, island atmosphere, and staycation offerings.
Bookings are available through The Heart of Europe’s official channels.
