Stan has released the official trailer for new original drama The Killings at Parrish Station, a mystery thriller set against the backdrop of a remote Australian desert research facility.

Mia Wasikowska stars as detective Georgia Cooke, alongside partner Detective Michael Thorne, played by Xavier Samuel. As the investigation deepens, Georgia becomes consumed by the case, with the fallout affecting her career, family and sense of reality.

Set 37 years later in 2024, an older Georgia, played by Heather Mitchell, is drawn back into the unsolved mystery by former protégé Millie Farah, portrayed by Doris Younane, who is now a senior homicide investigator.

A new series of murders mirrors the original 1987 killings in disturbing detail, forcing Georgia to revisit the case and confront the possibility that the killer was never caught.

The cast also includes Robert Taylor, Alan Dale, Emma Lung, Kat Hoyos, Nic English, Alex Malone, Geoff Morrell, Rob Carlton, Alex Lee, Cameron James and newcomer Grace Owens.

The series was created and written by Ben Jenkins, with Tim Pye serving as writer and script producer. Additional writing credits include Yolanda Ramke and Catherine Smyth-McMullen. Direction comes from Daniel Nettheim.

Ahead of its streaming debut, The Killings at Parrish Station will screen its first two episodes at the 2026 Sydney Film Festival.
