Film Star Laila was discovered by actress and director Shamim Aara and she made her debut under her command. Laila went on to star in many films and performed many songs and characters. She has also appeared in television and reality shows and she has never looked back. The actress has spoken about her journey and what she has gone through in an interview with Wasi Shah.
Laila shared that she was a dusky girl with a bob cut when she was spotted by Madam Shamim Aara in a mehfil. She offered her a role and launched her into films. That is what made her Laila from a young Saira. She used to just be a simple girl before that.
The co-host praised her for embracing her dusky complexion. Laila said that yes she was a sports girl and remaining in sunlight had made her complexion very dark. She then came into the industry and she loves her colour. Her complexion is the best on camera. Lighter complexion appears a bit faded while dusky people look the best when they wear makeup.
