The Football Zone tackles a problem that’s been bugging viewers for ages – content scattered across different streaming apps. Instead of hunting through BBC iPlayer, ITVX, and STV Player separately, you can now find everything in one centralised hub.

Live matches, highlights, full replays, and even football documentaries are all pulled together in a single destination on a Roku.

The Football Zone is accessible right from the Roku Home Screen menu, and you’ll spot it featured prominently when you switch on the telly.

And this year is particularly notable as it’s the biggest World Cup in history – 48 teams competing across 104 matches over 39 days, up from the 32-team, 64-match format used in previous tournaments.
Roku has worked closely with the broadcasters to gather all the match information and direct links, so you can see exactly where to watch each game.
It also comes packed with clever features to keep fans in the loop throughout the tournament. For instance, there’s a dynamic scoreboard that tracks results from every match, plus a leaderboard showing who’s banging in the most goals.

Given the time zone differences for this World Cup, not everyone may be able to catch games live.
With Roku ahead of the curve, you’ll also be able to watch full match replays, so you can wake up the next morning and watch the whole thing without spoilers. Both highlight programmes and morning recap shows from BBC and ITV will also be easy to find, giving you a condensed version of the overnight action if you prefer.
