Aussie pop star Kylie Minogue has appeared alongside sister Dannii and former flame Jason Donovan at the London launch event for her aptly named Netflix documentary KYLIE.
The highly anticipated series explores Kylie’s life and career, with reels of new interviews and vision touching on her time as the star of long-running soap Neighbours, which she starred opposite Donovan in the mid-80s, her romance with late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence, as well as her evolution as a performer over decades.
Speaking to Sunrise, the 57-year-old said she was moved by her former co-star’s honesty in unseen clips.

“I’m so touched that he spoke so openly and from the heart,” Minogue said.
“It gets very heartfelt when he’s talking about us breaking up… I’m very touched by it.”
Donovan’s presence in the doco and enduring closeness to Kylie suggests good neighbours have become very good friends, with Director Michael Harte labelling the Locomotion singer’s decision to leave the soap for a music career as a “big turning point” in her life.
