Pakistan Football Star Joins International Club

Pakistan women’s national team midfielder Suha Hirani has secured an overseas move, signing for Bhutanese side Transport United FC for the 2026 season.

The 24-year-old joins the Thimphu-based club from Karachi City FC, where she has established herself as a consistent performer and one of the more experienced players in the setup.

Over the past few years, Hirani has developed a reputation as a technically sound and attack-minded midfielder. She is known for her ability to carry the ball forward, operate effectively between the lines, and support the frontline with well-timed runs into the box.

Primarily an attacking midfielder, she is also comfortable playing on either wing, making her one of the more versatile options in the Pakistan women’s national football team squad.

At the international level, Hirani has been a regular starter for Pakistan and has contributed in key fixtures, including recent AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers, where she got on the scoresheet. Beyond her attacking contributions, she is also valued for her work rate, often tracking back to support defensive transitions.

The move to Transport United FC marks an important step in her career progression. The Bhutan-based club is regarded as one of the competitive sides in the country’s women’s football setup, and Hirani is expected to play a key role in midfield, bringing international experience, attacking intent, and positional flexibility.

Her transfer also reflects a broader trend of players exploring opportunities in regional leagues to gain consistent match exposure and continue their development at a competitive level.
