After a tight first leg, the Australian Professional Leagues (APL) can confirm the fixture details for the Ninja A-League Melbourne Derby Semi-Final second leg.
Premiers Melbourne City will take a one goal lead into the Ninja A-League Semi-Final second leg after a hard-fought 1-0 win over Melbourne Victory in today’s first leg.
Leticia McKenna’s free kick on the stroke of half time saw City take the lead into the break, with Victory unable to make ground on the deficit in the second half.
The result sees Michael Matricciani’s side take a slender lead into the second leg which will be held on Saturday 9 May at ctrl:cyber Pitch, kick-off 2pm AEST.
The match will be shown live on 10 Drama, as Victory will look to overturn the deficit and qualify for its second consecutive Grand Final, while City seeks to finish off the tie and keep their hopes for a historic women’s treble alive.

Tickets for the second leg of the Ninja A-League Melbourne Derby Semi-Final will go on sale on Monday 4 May at 9:00am AEST for members, and from 4:00pm AEST for the general public.
The highest placed team from the regular season that qualifies for the Grand Final will earn the right to host the Ninja A-League 2026 Grand Final to be played on the weekend of 16-17 May.
During the Ninja A-League 2026 Finals Series matches will be shown live across a mix of 10 Drama, 10 Streaming and Paramount+, with fans able to watch one game every weekend live and free-to-air on 10 Drama.
For New Zealand viewers, every match of the Ninja A-League 2026 Finals Series will be available live on Sky Sport and can be streamed on Sky Sport Now and Sky Go, with select matches also broadcast free-to-air on Sky Open.
