Jenny was a cat on the Olympic ship.
Onto The Titanic she made the short trip.
Jenny got used to her surroundings new.
And she became the mascot for the crew.
Clever Jenny slept while she was on board.
In the ships galley, where food was stored!
So plenty of treats came Jenny’s way.
Rewards for keeping the rodents at bay!
Of Joseph Mullholland she was very fond.
The two of them formed a very close bond.
Now this becomes a very strange tale.
Just before the Titanic to America set sail.
Jenny left the Titanic with her kittens in tow.
Onto dry land Jenny and her kittens did go.
It’s said, Jenny predicted the Titanic’s fate.
And departed the ship before it was too late.
This strange behavior Joseph Mullholland saw.
Nothing like that, had he ever seen before!
So, did Jenny foresee what soon became true?
That’s what Joseph thought, so left the ship too!
