One of Australia’s biggest comedy success stories may already be eyeing the exit, with Foxtel signalling the upcoming third season of Colin From Accounts could be its last.
Speaking during a Screen Forever 40 session on the Gold Coast today, Foxtel’s Executive Director of Entertainment Content, Dan Monaghan, suggested the next instalment of the Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer led series may close out the story.
“We have a great series of Colin From Accounts coming up the end of this year that will likely be the last one for now,” he said.

The series, created by and starring Brammall and Dyer, has been a consistent performer on Binge and one of Foxtel’s standout local originals, regularly ranking among the platform’s top titles.

Season two aired in May 2024, with the show renewed in April 2025, marking a longer gap than usual between instalments as anticipation builds for its return later this year.
Beyond Australia, the comedy has found strong international success, streaming on Paramount+ in the US and selling into multiple territories including New Zealand, with global distribution handled by Paramount Global.
Despite its success, Monaghan indicated Foxtel is now focused on finding the next distinctly Australian comedy to follow it.
