Premier League round-up as West Ham score dramatic late winner after Spurs beat Wolves and Liverpool defeat Crystal Palace

Callum Wilson scored a dramatic late winner for West Ham against Everton to keep the Hammers out of the drop zone after Tottenham Hotspur thought they had clawed their way out.

The Hammers took the lead through Tomas Soucek, opening up the scoring just after half-time.

The Czech international headed home from close range past Jordan Pickford to score one of his most important goals in claret and blue.

But David Moyes proved to be his former side’s worst enemy as his Everton side clawed their way back into the contest.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall delivered a huge blow to West Ham with a first-time strike as the Hammers failed to clear a cross.

But late on, Wilson scored after Jarrod Bowen helped it on its way, to send the West Ham supporters ballistic.

Spurs thought they had leapfrogged the Hammers in the table on goal difference, but are still two points behind.

The Portuguese got on the end of a ricochet from Richarlison to send the travelling Spurs supporters ballistic at Molineux.

Elsewhere in the Premier League, Liverpool beat Crystal Palace 3-1 with goals from Alexander Isak, Andrew Robertson and Florian Wirtz in stoppage time.

The Reds have all but secured Champions League football now as they go above Aston Villa in the table, who lost earlier on against Fulham.

The main talking point will be in the relegation battle, as despite Spurs picking up a rare win, they still fail to escape the bottom three with West Ham winning and Nottingham Forest thumping Sunderland yesterday evening, 5-0.
