PFL MENA to open 2026 season in Dubai

PFL MENA will open its 2026 season at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on May 24, with the first event of the campaign titled Pride of Arabia.

The Professional Fighters League confirmed the Dubai card will feature fighters from 11 countries across the Middle East and North Africa.

Mohammad Yahya will headline the event in a featherweight quarterfinal against Tunisia’s Mehdi Saadi. Yahya, from the UAE, will make his PFL debut on home soil as he looks to move into the next round of the tournament.

Saadi arrives with more experience in competition and will be looking to start his own campaign with a win in Dubai.

The co-main event brings together Morocco’s Salah Eddine Hamli and Algeria’s Ylies Djiroun in the lightweight division. Hamli is unbeaten, while Djiroun has fought across a range of international events.

The night will also include the PFL debut of Emirati fighter Zamzam Al Hammadi, one of the UAE’s emerging names in mixed martial arts.

Jerome Mazet, General Manager of PFL MENA, said Dubai is an important city for the league and a strong place to begin the new season, given its position in regional sport and entertainment.

Tickets are available through the Coca-Cola Arena website. An early booking discount is open until April 29.
