There are two kinds of moments that come out of Coachella: the chaos from the festival itself, and the memes from fans and enthusiasts (us) screaming, crying, and wishing we were there.
As enthusiasts from afar this year, I think we can say Coachella 2026 will definitely go down as one for the history books — at least when it comes to the viral content it delivered to us at-home participants, streamed straight from the dusty desert to our screens. We saw Justin Bieber jump off stage to sing with his Beliebers in the pit, Olivia Rodrigo debut her latest track Drop Dead alongside Addison Rae, Geese cover Baby by Justin Bieber, and Dior absolutely dominate with the best looks on and off stage.
So in honour of another Coachella done and dusted, here’s a recap of the biggest and most viral moments from the festival in 2026.

We just know Billie Eilish was in bits after this moment. By now I think it is widely known that the singer-songwriter is a long time Belieber, so it felt only right that she was the girl to get up on stage for this moment. Besides of course his wife, Hailey Bieber…

A big moment for the Geese fandom. And believe it or not, this is not the first time the band have covered this song. In 2024 in a studio session, they recorded their first rendition. That cover that was well received by their fans, so you can only imagine their excitement when they played it live on the first weekend.
Dior became a festival-approved fashion house
Sabrina Carpenter and Ethel Cain both wore custom Dior by Jonathan Anderson looks for their on-stage performances across weekend one and two. And off-stage, we couldn’t take our eyes off Hailey Bieber’s lingerie-like slip dress, which also happened to be Dior. Sourced from Tabvintage, this piece was a 1998 Christian Dior by John Galliano slip that has now found its way high on our ‘want’ list.

Due to strong winds for the first weekend, Anyma’s set had to be cancelled. The fans were definitely disappointed to see that it wasn’t even postponed. But luckily Anyma made up for his absence with an incredible weekend two performance where he debuted his latest track with BLACKPINK’s Lisa.

A bit of an unfortunate moment at weekend one, when a heavy light fixture from John Summits surprise set fell into the middle of the crowd and injured at least one person. We hope they’re okay.

Weekend two at Coachella was all about bringing out a special guest. Sabrina Carpenter’s surprise moment proved hard to top, with none other than Madonna making an appearance, just a few days after announcing her new album. On stage they sung a medley of tracks including Bring Your Love and Like a Prayer.
