Oppo has announced several new AI features coming to ColorOS 16, its Android 16-based software, ahead of the launch of the Find X9 Ultra on April 21.
AI Bill Manager in Mind Space
The AI Mind Space feature introduced with ColorOS 16 is gaining AI Bill Manager. This tool can automatically extract and record spending details from digital invoices and payment records.
Users can activate it by pressing the Snap Key or using a three-finger swipe after making a payment.
It also works with physical receipts. Users can open the camera, trigger AI Mind Space with the same gesture, and the system will scan the receipt and convert the information into organized records.
All saved billing data is stored in a dedicated Bill Memory section within Mind Space.
AI Mind Pilot for Personalized Answers
Oppo is also introducing AI Mind Pilot, a feature designed to provide more personalized responses.
Users can ask questions, and the system will use personal context stored in AI Mind Space. It can also coordinate multiple AI models to generate answers.
The feature allows users to select a preferred model or compare responses from several models at once.
AI Menu Translation for Travel
ColorOS 16 adds AI Menu Translation, aimed at helping travelers understand restaurant menus.
The tool can translate menu text, identify ingredients, show visual references of dishes, and convert prices into the user’s preferred currency.
AI Email Brief
Another addition is AI Email Brief, which delivers a personalized summary of emails from the past 24 hours each morning.
The feature organizes key messages, highlights meetings or tasks, and allows users to add events to their calendar with one tap.
New Live Space Interface
ColorOS 16 also introduces Live Space, allowing users to switch between capsule view and stacked notifications on the lock screen using gestures.
The system is designed to keep wallpapers less cluttered while still showing important updates.
Quick Share and AirDrop Support
Oppo said it is working with Google to enable AirDrop support through Quick Share on the Find X9 Ultra.
The company has not confirmed whether the feature will be available at launch or arrive later through an update.
Launch Timeline
The Find X9 Ultra is scheduled to be unveiled on April 21.
