The Ministry of Home Affairs has granted Z category security to AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha after his security was withdrawn by the Punjab government, according to sources. The development comes amid an escalating rift between Raghav Chadha and top leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party.
There are speculations that he might join the Bharatiya Janata Party or launch an independent platform. On April 2, the AAP had removed Raghav Chadha as its deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha and has accused him of not raising his voice against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Centre in Parliament and instead engaging in “soft PR”.
