North American publisher Mahjong Pros has finalized distribution deals for their upcoming slate of manga releases with Pathway Book Service and Gazelle Book Services.
Pathway will manage the “comprehensive book fulfillment, warehousing, and retail distribution” of Mahjong Pros’ print catalog. The distributor services several national retailers such as Barnes & Noble, Books A Million, Walmart and Amazon. Wholesalers will be able to purchase the publisher’s titles directly from Pathway through Ingram Book Distributors and Ingram’s iPage Platform.
Select Mahjong Pros manga titles will also be distributed by Gazelle Book Services throughout Europe.
Mahjong Pros announced last March that it licensed four manga series as part of its first slate of manga releases. They include Crybaby Mermaid: Illustrated Memoir of Yumi Uotani, Reform with No Wasted Draws: The Legend of Koizumi, Getter Robo High, and Vermilion Stella – Illustrated Memoir of Arisa Date. All titles will also be released in digital format.
Manga Mavericks Books also announced a distribution deal with Pathway Book Service and Gazelle Book Services this past February.
