When and where to catch Harry Styles’ Take Away Show episode

When and where to catch Harry Styles’ Take Away Show episode

Our favourite British singer (and this year’s Meltdown Festival curator) Harry Styles is good at keeping us on our toes. And now, he’s surprising fans with a special live performance with La Blogothèque for their iconic ‘Take Away Shows’ series – and it’s dropping tomorrow. That means that at some point in the last few days, Styles was likely out on the streets of Paris performing acoustically for free. We’ll be damned if we miss that show twice – so read on if you want all the details of where to catch the performance video when it’s released…

When is it dropping?

It’s dropping tomorrow. No time is confirmed yet, but the video is being produced by La Blogothèque who will likely operate on Parisian time.

When and where can I watch it?

The video is set to go live tomorrow on La Blogothèque’s social channels, so you won’t have to wait long. If previous ‘Take Away Shows’ are anything to go by, this will be one of those performances people keep coming back to — simple, atmospheric, and powerful.

What is ‘The Take Away Show’?

If you haven’t come across them before, ‘Take Away Shows’ are these beautifully shot, super intimate live sessions where artists perform just one song in an unexpected location in Paris. Think streets, tiny apartments, bars, gardens – basically anywhere that isn’t a traditional stage. They’re filmed in a kind of raw, almost documentary style, which makes everything feel really immediate and real.

What will he be performing?

This isn’t a big production moment. In fact, it’s kind of the opposite. The whole point of these sessions is to strip things back, so you can expect a much more acoustic, minimal version of Harry. If he’s to follow suit, he’ll be performing just one song – and likely from his new album Kiss All The Time, Disco Occasionally.

Who else has done these shows before?

Harry’s joining some seriously good company. Past Take Away Shows have featured artists like Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Laufey, and Alicia Keys – all of whom delivered really memorable, intimate performances that fans still talk about.
