The ongoing Pakistan Super League 2026 (PSL 11) has already delivered plenty of action in its opening week, with standout individual performances, game-changing spells, and clutch knocks shaping early narratives.
From explosive batting displays to match-defining bowling spells, several players have already made strong claims for the spotlight.
For this week’s PSL 11 power rankings, we’ve evaluated performances using a simple but effective approach. Each player’s position is based not just on raw stats, but also on true match impact, their performance relative to team situations, and how significantly they contributed to their side’s success or competitiveness.
With that in mind, here’s our Week 1 PSL 11 Power Rankings:
10. Yasir Khan
Rawalpindi’s promising young batter Yasir Khan made an immediate impression in his side’s opening clash against Peshawar Zalmi. Opening the innings with confidence, he smashed 83 off 46 balls, striking 7 fours and 6 sixes at an impressive strike rate of 180.43.
Despite the explosive knock, his innings couldn’t translate into a win for Rawalpindi, which is why he sits at number 10. While the numbers were eye-catching, the overall match impact didn’t shift the outcome in his team’s favor.
9. Ashton Turner
Multan Sultans captain Ashton Turner delivered a composed all-round performance to guide his side to victory against Islamabad United. Although he bowled just one over, conceding only 4 runs, his real contribution came with the bat.
Chasing a target, Turner remained unbeaten on 43 off 28 balls, including 3 boundaries and a six, steering Multan across the line with calm authority.
8. Adam Zampa
Adam Zampa has been a standout performer for Karachi Kings with his consistent spin bowling. While his first outing against Quetta Gladiators saw him pick up just one wicket for 26 runs, he quickly found rhythm in the high-voltage clash against Lahore Qalandars.
In that match, Zampa delivered a match-winning spell of 2 wickets for just 11 runs, including a maiden over in his 4-over quota, ultimately earning him the Player of the Match award.
7. Momin Qamar
Young spinner Momin Qamar may not have grabbed headlines with the bat, but his impact with the ball was decisive for Multan Sultans. Bowling just 3 overs, he dismantled Islamabad United’s top order by picking up 3 crucial wickets, including key dismissals of Sameer Minhas, Haider Ali, and Shadab Khan.
His spell effectively sealed the game in the first innings, and although Ashton Turner finished the chase, Momin’s contributions laid the foundation for the win, earning him Player of the Match honors.
6. Abdul Samad
Peshawar Zalmi’s Abdul Samad played a blistering cameo that nearly shifted the momentum in a high-scoring contest against Rawalpindi. His explosive 33 off just 11 balls, at a staggering strike rate of 300, injected late fire into the chase.
5. Shaheen Shah Afridi
Lahore Qalandars skipper Shaheen Shah Afridi continues to lead from the front with the ball. Currently among the joint-leading wicket-takers in the tournament, he has already picked up 5 wickets in Week 1.
He returned figures of 1 for 28 against Hyderabad Kingsmen, followed by an outstanding 4 for 18 against Karachi Kings.
4. Ahmed Daniyal
Ahmed Daniyal has emerged as one of the standout fast bowlers of the tournament so far, sharing the top of the wicket charts. Representing Quetta Gladiators, he made an immediate impact by taking 3 wickets in the opener against Karachi Kings and followed it up with another 2 wickets against Hyderabad.
3. Moeen Ali
Veteran all-rounder Moeen Ali has been one of Karachi Kings’ most reliable performers. In the opening match against Quetta Gladiators, he played a crucial unbeaten knock of 48 off 29 balls, featuring 4 fours and 3 sixes, helping his team post a competitive total.
He complemented his batting with key contributions in the field and a wicket of Quetta skipper Saud Shakeel, earning him Player of the Match honors. Against Lahore Qalandars, Moeen once again contributed with both bat and ball, underlining his all-round value.
2. Shamyl Hussain
Quetta Gladiators’ young opener Shamyl Hussain has been one of the revelations of PSL 11 so far. He has already registered back-to-back fifties, establishing himself as the tournament’s leading run-scorer in the opening week.
His explosive 50 off 24 balls against Karachi Kings nearly took the game away, while his second consecutive fifty against Hyderabad, coupled with two catches in the field, helped Quetta secure a win and earned him Player of the Match honors.
1. Hasan Ali
Karachi Kings pacer Hasan Ali tops our Week 1 power rankings thanks to his consistent wicket-taking ability and match impact. He currently stands as the leading wicket-taker in PSL 11.
He produced a sensational spell of 4 for 27 in the opening match against Quetta Gladiators and followed it up with another disciplined performance against Lahore Qalandars, finishing with 1 for 25. His contributions also include a spectacular diving catch to dismiss Abdullah Shafique.
