Reborn as a Vending Machine Season 3 will begin airing on April 1. A main trailer and key visual have also been released in addition to that news drop.
In addition to these reveals, it was announced that the opening song is “Jihankism” by VIVARUSH, while the ending song is “Mekuru Meku Rendezvous” by the hololive VTuber duo Fuwamoco.

Reborn as a Vending Machine is based on the KADOKAWA-published light novels written by Hirukuma and illustrated by Itsuwa Kato. Yen Press describes the books’ synopsis as such:
After dying in a traffic accident, I find myself standing near an unfamiliar lake. My body won’t move, I can’t hear my voice, and when I try to shout in confusion, words that I never expected come out!
“Get one free with a winner.”
I-it seems I’ve turned into a vending machine…! I can only do what actual vending machines can. It’s impossible to move by myself, and there’s no way for me to have any meaningful conversation-how am I going to survive some fantasy world’s dungeon like this?!
The Reborn as a Vending Machine story started as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2016, with the light novel series beginning publication the same year. Three light novel volumes were released between 2016 and 2017. A shinsoban release of the light novels with illustrations by Hagure Yuki, who is also the character designer of the manga adaptation, debuted in 2021. Both releases fall under the KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko label.
The first season of the anime began airing in 2023.
