THE CHAMPIONS!
We are back this week with some UEFA Champions League ties as we finally confirm all the teams that will qualify for the round of 16 via the knockout round playoffs.
In our games that kicked off simultaneously, we saw tons of drama (17 goals and three red cards in four games), but the main headlines were that Real Madrid did enough to eliminate Benfica at the Santiago Bernabéu 3-1 on aggregate, while in an all-French affair, defending champions Paris Saint-Germain secured their spot as they eliminated AS Monaco 5-4 on aggregate.
Elsewhere, Juventus looked to reverse a 5-2 deficit as they host Galatasaray, and they did so by sending the game into extra time with the aggregate score level at 5-5, but the Turkish team scored twice in extra time to book their ticket to the next round.
