Imperfect Women brings Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss and Kate Mara together in a dark Apple TV psychological thriller about fractured friendship and buried secrets.
Apple TV has unveiled the first trailer for its upcoming psychological thriller Imperfect Women, headlined and executive produced by Kerry Washington and Elisabeth Moss.
Created for television by Annie Weisman, who also serves as showrunner, the eight-episode series is based on the novel of the same name by Araminta Hall.

The drama centres on a crime that fractures a decades-long friendship between three women. As the investigation unfolds, the series explores themes of guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the life-altering compromises made behind closed doors.
According to the synopsis, the story examines how even the closest bonds may conceal unexpected truths.
Joining Emmy Award winners Washington and Moss in the ensemble cast are Kate Mara, Joel Kinnaman, Corey Stoll, Leslie Odom Jr., Audrey Zahn, Jill Wagner, Rome Flynn, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Violette Linnz, Indiana Elle, Jackson Kelly, Keith Carradine, Ana Ortiz, Wilson Bethel and Sherri Saum.
Imperfect Women is a co-production between 20th Television and Apple Studios. The series marks the latest collaboration between Weisman and Apple TV following the dramedy Physical.
The limited series is executive produced by Moss and Lindsey McManus, who originally optioned the book, through their production company Love & Squalor Pictures. Washington executive produces via her Simpson Street banner alongside Pilar Savone. Author Hall also serves as an executive producer, along with writer Kay Oyegun.
Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland, Love & Death) directs and executive produces episodes one, four and five.
Imperfect Women premieres Wednesday 18 March 2026 on Apple TV.
