Tara Moss: Aussie model and author speaks out about ‘scary’ Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor encounter amid arrest

An Australian supermodel turned author has shared a “scary” encounter she had with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Speaking to her followers on Instagram the day after the disgraced prince was arrested, Tara Moss shared her story.

“I did not know him as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor but as prince Andrew and I met him only once and that was via a request through a modelling agency here in Sydney,” she said.

“It was over two decades ago and I was invited to meet him on a boat along with a bunch of Australian luminaries, former prime ministers and other people including one former prime minister I very much admire and wanted to meet.”

She said that while she was there she did get a chance to meet that prime minister and his wife in a “very above board” setting. But things weren’t “fine and good” for long.

“That was all fine and good until the evening wore on and they left, all these sorts of luminaries left and suddenly it was me and Prince Andrew and the Rothchilds, who were looking after Prince Andrew,” she said.

According to her, the Rothchilds were looking after the then-prince, and were talking about how he was “travelling under the radar” and just “having a good time”.

“And there we are, just a few models and Prince Andrew, and he came and sat next to me, put his arm around me, or tried to I should say,” Moss said.

She described the ex-duke doing the classic “teenage boy yawn stretch” reaching his arm up in an attempt to put it around her.

As he tried this, Moss said Andrew “clanged his funny bone on the side of the boat” which was very “awkward”.

After this, Moss told the remaining attendees that it was time for her to get a water taxi back to shore. Andrew followed.

“And suddenly (Andrew) wanted to get one too. And I got off this boat, got off the water taxi, and I’m on the shore here in Sydney and looking for a taxi cab, and prince Andrew is following me,” Moss said.

“His security is kind of like running behind him and this really uncomfortable moment happens.

“There’s a couple in a car next to me, their own vehicle. I’m waiting for a taxi. They just sort of looked at me and went ‘hey do you need a lift right now?’

“Suddenly they just grabbed me and they just pulled me into their vehicle. I had this look on my face that said ‘yeah’.”

Moss got in the back of the couple’s car and they drove off while Andrew was in the “background” as his security caught up with him.

“There was just this feeling I did not like about that moment at all. Nothing untoward happened to me. It was just a feeling,” Moss said.

With the recent disclosure of the Epstein files, Moss has taken interest in the financial link between the Rothschilds and convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Further, just like most of the world, she has been reading about the link between Andrew and Epstein.

She then explained how events like the one she attended were purportedly strategic ways to lull models into a sense of security.

“Luminaries and high ranking people were used as enticements to get models to come, in this case in a boat, to islands, to ranches,” she said.

“Those high ranking people were used as a kind of way to make things look safe and legitimate, which is how it looked to me.

She said that looking back at that memory now is “scary”.

“It’s scary actually looking back at it now with what I’ve been reading about in the Epstein files,” Moss said.

She went on to thank the couple who intervened. “Thank you, thanks for the lift.”
