The Pakistan Coast Guard reportedly seized 43.8 kilograms of hashish in multiple anti-smuggling operations across Balochistan over the past month, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.
According to the Coast Guard spokesperson, the operations also recovered 8 kilograms of opium and 26 kilograms of silver. Authorities have initiated legal action against the seizure.
The recovered drugs are estimated to have a global market value of approximately $33.13 million.
The Pakistan Coast Guard reportedly remains actively engaged in curbing drug smuggling and illegal trade, aiming to protect public safety and stabilize the country’s economy.
