Dearest gentle reader,
It’s with great excitement that we can confirm a new season of Bridgerton—one of Netflix’s most beloved spectacles—has officially landed.
To mark the occasion, members of the Melbourne Ton are cordially invited to the Bridgerton Masquerade Parlour: a proper mask shop where fans can doll themselves up and snap selfies amid the shimmering set.
Keep scrolling for the masquerade parlour details, what to expect from Bridgerton Season Four and later series speculations.
Yours sincerely, Urban List.
Live Your Fairytale Fantasy At The Bridgerton Masquerade Parlour In Melbourne
Alert the Ton and call in the cavalry, Bridgerton is bringing its Regency-era opulence to Melbourne.
On Saturday, 31 January and Sunday, 1 February, fans can step into the Bridgerton Masquerade Parlour from 9am to 6pm at 362 Little Collins Street in Melbourne’s CBD.
The luxurious Bridgerton-inspired space will be transformed into a luxe parlour with DIY pampering stations, guided sessions and photo ops throughout.
Appointed with dainty gloves, dazzling jewels and masquerade moments, it’s an open invitation to unmask your fairytale fantasy.
Entry is free, but on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s also encouraged (but not mandatory) to don your best finery to prepare for the new season in style.
What To Expect From Bridgerton Season Four
The fluttery fourth season of Netflix’s Bridgerton promises more fairytale romance and delicious scandal than ever.
Dropping in two parts—Part 1 on Thursday, 29 January, followed by Part 2 on Thursday, 26 February—the Netflix hit spans eight episodes, primed for a proper weekend binge.
This season shifts its focus to the second son, Benedict Bridgerton (played by the dashing Luke Thompson), who is not as stoked about settling down as his happily married siblings.
That is, until he meets the captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball and is determined to uncover her true identity.
Eventually revealed as Sophie Baek (played by rising Aussie star Yerin Ha), she is a resilient young maid living under the thumb of her step-family, the Pembrokes.
Navigating their differing social statuses and undeniable attraction, it’s a Cinderella-esque love story that we can’t wait to watch on Netflix.
Bridgerton Seasons Five And Six Speculations
Like the rest of the Bridgerton fandom, we’re already buzzing about what the rest of the series holds—and it seems Eloise and Francesca Bridgerton are possibly next in line for their romantic reckoning.
At the Bridgerton Season Four premiere in Paris, showrunner Jess Brownell firmly teased that both sisters will headline future seasons.
For the event, Brownell wore two pocket squares embroidered with the initials “E” and “F”. Speaking to Deadline, Brownell revealed, “Both characters with the initials on my pocket squares will get seasons in five and six. In what order? I can’t say.”
As you can imagine, rumours are swirling with fans speculating that Season Five will focus on Eloise’s love story with Sir Phillip Crane, mirroring Julia Quinn’s novel, To Sir Phillip, With Love.
Francesca’s story is expected to follow soon after, based on the When He Was Wicked book, setting the stage for one of the series’ most emotionally-charged seasons.
One thing’s for sure: the future of Bridgerton is already being written, and we can’t wait to watch it all on Netflix.
In the meantime, scandal, romance and masquerade marvelry await—stream Season Four of Bridgerton on Netflix now.
