When asked, “Were you uncomfortable reading the script, especially the scene recently aired in which an inappropriate question was asked during the proposal?” Hina Bayat replied, “Nadia, as an actor, you leave yourself behind when you are given a script for a character. Likewise, I forget about myself while performing any role. For me, it is important to understand the psychology of the character I am portraying. If I talk about the Aik Aur Pakeezah role, she said it and it didn’t look weird or too abnormal, but she conveyed her point, and there was relevance to such questions. Sometimes, people become blunt due to their life experiences and speak without filters. She also has curiosity behind these questions. In our society, important questions are not asked, due to which women either suffer or end up taking divorce within a month.
