58-Year-Old American Woman flies to Pakistan to marry 34-Year-Old ‘Love of Her Life’

Love knows no age, distance or borders, and another story captured proves this phrase as 58-year-old American woman traveled to Pakistan to marry the 34-year-old man she calls the “love of her life,” turning a three-year online friendship into a real-life marriage.

Rosanna Marina, 58, developed a relationship with Adil Shehzad, 34, after the pair connected on Facebook around three years ago.

What began as a social-media friendship gradually turned into a romantic relationship, eventually leading Rosanna to travel to Pakistan and take the relationship to marriage.

During proceedings in court, Rosanna reportedly made it clear that she had come to Pakistan voluntarily and married Adil of her own free will. She also embraced Islam before the marriage.

Adil said their relationship grew stronger over the three years despite the distance between the United States and Pakistan. Their initial online conversations eventually developed into what they described as a serious relationship.

The couple’s unusual love story has since gone viral on social media, triggering a wave of reactions from users. While many have expressed surprise at the international age-gap romance, others have praised the couple for following their relationship despite geographical and cultural differences.
