Calling all kids! PickleBOS Kids Clinic
Looking for a fun, active after-school option for kids this spring? PickleBOS in South Boston is launching a 6-week Kids Pickleball Clinic, and there are still a few spots left. Designed for ages 7–12, the weekly Wednesday clinic is led by coach Sandy Wang and focuses on building skills, confidence, and connection through one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. Running March 25 through May 6 from 4–5:30 PM, the series offers a welcoming, high-energy environment where kids of all levels can learn the game, stay active, and make new friends.

Head Island Causeway Closure
Beginning on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, and continuing through Monday, April 13, 2026, the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) will close the Head Island Causeway between the Pleasure Bay parking lot and Castle Island in the South Boston from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accommodate resurfacing work. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to William J. Day Boulevard

Mayor Michelle Wu and the Office of Youth Employment and Opportunity (YEO) today announced that paid youth job applications are open for summer 2026. Boston youth and young adults ages 14 – 24 can apply now at futureBOS, a centralized hub for all youth employment opportunities in Boston, including opportunities from SuccessLink, the City’s youth jobs program.
