The UK’s biggest night in television is heading down under, with BAFTA Television Awards set to stream locally on HBO Max for Aussie viewers.
Filmed at London’s Royal Festival Hall, the ceremony will be hosted by British comedian Greg Davies, best known for his role on Taskmaster UK.
The BAFTA Television Awards celebrate excellence across drama, comedy, limited series and performance categories, drawing global attention to both British and international productions.

This year, Warner Bros. Discovery has secured five nominations, including recognition for its HBO Originals slate.
Among them, The White Lotus features in the International category, alongside acting nominations for Aimee Lou Wood, Chyna McQueen and Emilia Jones.
The animated favourite The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball also lands a nomination in the Children’s Scripted category, highlighting the breadth of contenders across genres.
For Australian audiences, the addition of the BAFTA TV Awards builds on HBO Max’s earlier acquisition of the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards back in February, signalling a broader push into major global events.
The 2026 BAFTA Television Awards will be available to stream for HBO Max subscribers in Australia from 4.03am AEST on Monday, 11 May.
