A new trailer, key visual, and ending theme song have been unveiled for the upcoming second season of Mission: Yozakura Family, which will premiere in Japan on April 12, 2026.

The trailer announces the second season’s ending theme song as “Shalala,” performed by Pilaf Alien, and also highlights the opening theme song “What’s ‘KAZOKU’” by Sakurazaka46.
Mirai Minato (Season 1 director) is serving as chief director for season two, with Takahiro Nakatsugawa (Season 1 Episode 2 and 11 storyboard artist and director) as director, Mirai Minato (reprising) as series composer, and Mizuki Takahashi (reprising) as character designer and chief animation director. Silver Link is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast includes:

The original action-comedy manga series is written and drawn by Hitsuji Gondaira. It ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from August 26, 2019 to January 20, 2025. A total of 29 manga volumes were published in Japan.
The first season of its anime adaptation aired from April 2024 to October 2024. It streamed in the U.S. on Hulu and in other countries and territories on Disney+.

VIZ Media licensed the Mission: Yozakura Family manga for English release. It describes the main premise of the first volume as:
Taiyo Asano is a super-shy high school student and the only person he can talk to is his childhood friend Mutsumi Yozakura. However, Mutsumi comes from a line of master spies with amazing powers.
