Anzac Day is held annually on April 25th, with services held in both metropolitan and rural areas across the state. It is a time of reflection and commemoration for past and present soldiers who selflessly honour and serve our country.

This is your guide to the public events and services happening.

Air Force flying displays

The Royal Australian Air Force aircraft will conduct flying displays across SA in support of Anzac Day commemorations. Here’s the list of when and where.

Join the Para Hills Community Club this ANZAC Day as they come together to honour, reflect, and connect with thei community. Open from 9:00am, settle in for the day with Footy Live & Loud, Free Pint for Service Members and there will also be Footy Platters available.

Anzac Day Commemorative March

The Anzac Day Commemorative March will start from the intersection of Gawler Place and North Terrace and travel west on North Terrace, north on King William Road/ Sir Edwin Smith Avenue to the Cross of Sacrifice in Pennington Gardens East. After the March, the Anzac Day Service of Remembrance provides a significant finale to the commemorations, with the Dawn Service representing a funeral, the March representing the walk to the grave site and the service at the Cross of Sacrifice representing the burial.

ANZAC Day Street Party

The Legacy Club of South Australia & Broken Hill and The Union Hotel are coming together to recognise and pay tribute to those who have served our country, and to support the families who stand beside them.

Waymouth street will come alive with a variety of food and drink stalls, live music and dancing and the annual Legacy South Australia & Broken Hill fundraising BBQ, raising vital funds to support the families of veterans.

SANFL ANZAC Day Match

The traditional Anzac Day Grand Final rematch between 2025 Grand Finalists, Sturt and Glenelg, at Thomas Farms Oval on Saturday, April 25th.
