ADELAIDE EASTER CARNIVAL 2026

Celebrate Easter with a free family fun day at Civic Park, featuring rides, games, face painting and plenty of tasty food. Kids can meet the Easter Bunny, take part in a colouring competition and join the big Easter egg hunt, with prizes to be won.

Entry is free, with egg hunt tickets available online for $15. Pre-purchase to avoid missing out and save on money, you can buy ride coupons online.

EASTER THURSDAY KIDS TRAIL

Hop into Easter fun at Adelaide Central Market with the Easter Thursday Kids Trail, a sweet adventure through one of the city’s favourite foodie spots.

Kids can collect a bag and a map before exploring the market to pick up chocolate, treats and more along the way. Bookings are essential, with limited spots available and one trail per child.

HOP INTO EASTER AT UNLEY

Don’t miss the Easter Bunny’s appearance at Unley Shopping Centre, it’s coming up very soon!

He’s hopping in on Thursday 2nd of April, and Saturday 4th of April and rumour has it he’s excited. There are free Easter eggs for the kids (but only for the first 150), so don’t miss out. Plus, if you get a photo with him in the shopping centre’s Easter Garden, you go into the draw to win an Easter Indulgence Package valued at $200.

MEADOWS EASTER FAIR

The Meadows Easter Fair returns to Meadows for four days of family-friendly fun this Easter, with more than 100 stalls, gourmet food, local produce, a petting zoo and plenty more to explore.

Best of all, it’s completely free to attend, with entertainment, live music, crafts, plants, tools and treats on offer. This is an easy and affordable long weekend outing in the Adelaide Hills.

GOOD FRIDAY FESTIVAL

Kick off the long weekend at the Good Friday Festival in Prospect, with food trucks, market stalls, live music and plenty of family-friendly fun.

Settle in with a drink, stroll through the markets, and enjoy face painting and games for the kids. It’s free to attend, just bring a chair or picnic rug and make a day of it.

GOOD TIMES, GREAT FRIDAY

Wines & Good Times have partnered up with 2KW to give you a sun-soaked disco session this Good Friday. From 2pm till late, sit outside at 2KW’s iconic rooftop and get immersed in the live DJ set with 8 DJs performing throughout the day.

From 2pm – 3pm the first spritz is on them too! For feel-good tracks, relaxed vibes and the unmistakable Wines & Good Times energy, there’s only one place to be.

EASTER AT WOODHOUSE

PS INDUSTRY STEAMING DAY

Are you looking for an Easter on the water? Well, look no further than the PS Industry. This beautifully restored paddle steamer invites you to slow down this Easter as you enjoy a scenic 60-minute adventure down the Murray River.

Enjoy live commentary sharing the vessel’s rich history, along with sweeping views of the river, Renmark town centre and surrounds. Onboard, explore historical photos and memorabilia, with souvenirs also available to take a piece of the journey home.

OLIVER’S TARANGA EASTER WEEKEND CELLAR DOOR

This Easter weekend, Oliver’s Taranga Cellar Door is open. Known for being one of McLaren Vale’s most inviting experiences, the cellar door tasting is set in a beautifully restored stone cottage that opens up onto a modern deck with stunning vineyard views.

You can choose from two tasting experiences, ‘Taste of Taranga’ or the ‘Icons of the Vale’, both of which are paired with locally made bread and award-winning olive oil. Platter snacks are available too.

ADELAIDE INTERNATIONAL KITE FESTIVAL

The Adelaide International Kite Festival returns to Semaphore Beach Foreshore this Easter long weekend, filling the sky with colourful kites of all shapes and sizes.

Running from Saturday to Monday, 11am–5pm, the free event features fairground rides, food stalls and a lively atmosphere, with the best views from the jetty. Arrive early for parking or take a short walk in, and bring some cash if the kids are keen for rides.

EASTER COASTAL BUNNY RUN

Gaining more and more popularity every year is the Easter Coast BUNNY RUN. Offering a 5k, 10k, 15k, half marathon and 30k run, the race starts at 7am and all finishers receive a medal! Burn off the calories early and earn the chocolate coma later on in the day. This year’s theme is once again ‘bunny’ and a trophy is award to the person who best represents the theme.
