Last month, when Young Magazine US revealed the five manga poll winners that would subsequently be serialized in Young Magazine and on K Manga, its editor-in-chief Hidemi Shiraki said that “we have urgently decided to select four additional works for serialization” in response to the favorable reception. Those four titles have now been unveiled.
The additional four manga are The Last Terran (story by Hiroshi Takashige, art by Tatsumi Hitomoji), Boys Run The Riot -In Transition- (Keito Gaku), To Dusk and Twilight (Robico), and Protocol Ryugu (Daisaku Tsuru). Their first chapters can be found on the Young Magazine US website.
The first five selected titles were Still You (Kami Nishio), Godmother (Rin Shimokawa) The Knight of Blasphemy (Ray Kindo), The Journey of a Dark Elf with Fading Flowers (Daisuke Itabashi), and Fasciation (OUGA).
The poll was held from August 21 to November 10 and recorded 281,461 votes. The titles involved are featured in the English-language Young Magazine Special Edition commemorating Young Magazine’s 45th anniversary. A second “Yanmaga US project” is in the works.
